Dr. Zimmerman brings to the table a great deal of knowledge and skill in all things musculoskeletal care: After becoming a licensed massage therapist, he then completed a 4 year doctoral program in chiropractic medicine at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.

Not only has Dr. Z. chosen health and physical medicine as a career, but as a personal lifestyle as well. He has completed multiple New York City triathlons, half marathons, a Tough Mudder race, as well as a 5-day, 250-mile off road bike in Israel benefiting a facility for children with special needs. Throughout the year, you can also find him volunteering his skilled services at the New York City Marathon and Half Marathon, Brooklyn Half Marathon, New York City Triathlon, as well as the Westchester Toughman race with the Sports Chiropractors of New York group.

While Dr. Zimmerman is well-versed in a number of massage therapy modalities and chiropractic treatment methods, he has also attained multiple post-graduate certifications in ‘gold-standard’ adjunctive disciplines that he brings to the treatment room, including:

  • Neurokinetic Therapy

  • Postural Restoration Institute

  • Active Release Technique

  • Graston Technique

  • Rocktape Kinesiology Taping

  • Foot Levelers Orthotics Fitting

  • Functional Movement Assessment

We at MBM are confident you will experience the benefits of his expert analysis and care. His education, clinical experience, and background as a multi-sport athlete has lent great authority to his capabilities as an effective practitioner in not only treating his patients, but also in enhancing both their workplace and athletic performance.
